Ask for help.

From mentors. From colleagues. Hell, even ask strangers.

The idea that “only you know best” is a trap. Falling into it means getting in your own way, and getting in the way of producing your best work.

Great ideas can come from anywhere. And the idea you haven’t thought of yet is by definition going to be living in someone else’s head.

So whether you think you need it or not, ask for help. Ask often. Ask enthusiastically.
